Poison Prevention Event

On June 22, 2010, Poison Prevention had an event at the Woodridge Community Resource Center.  There were 40 children present and we educated them about what types of things are poisonous, where poisonous products can be found in the house, poisonous plants, the difference between medicine and candy, and how to call the Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222 in case there had been a poisoning.  All in all it was a fun day!
